What skills and experience we're looking for
Due to the relocation of our current EYFS Lead, we are looking to appoint an excellent, passionate and caring Early Years Specialist to complement our dedicated and experienced EYFS team.
Are you an experienced, enthusiastic, creative and dynamic Early Years teacher seeking a new challenge with responsibility?Do you have a good track record in middle leadership and are ready for your next step? If yes, we are looking for an Early Years Leader to join our St John’s community. You will be an active member of the Senior Leadership Team and be an instrumental part in establishing the strategic direction of the school and improving the provision for all pupils.
Desirable applicants should:
- have an uncompromising passion and enthusiasm for teaching and learning in the early years;
- be an excellent classroom practitioner willing to share best practice and develop others;
- have high expectations of behaviour and achievement;
- experience of implementing conducting effective monitoring cycles;
- knowledge of current national educational policy, priorities and early years pedagogy;
- a commitment to teamwork and a collegiate approach;
- have the ability and determination to inspire and motivate children to achieve highly and lead others to success.
