Responsibilities Include
- Fulfilling the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as outlined in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions document (STPCD).
- Providing leadership and management of the Health Sciences curriculum, delivering top-notch teaching, and utilising resources effectively.
- Elevating learning standards and achievement for all pupils while serving as a classroom teacher.
- Contributing to whole-subject self-evaluation and improvement planning.
- Mentoring and developing staff within the subject, offering guidance and support.
- Setting high expectations for all pupils and inspiring staff and students alike to reach and maintain high standards.
- Leading by example through personal classroom practice and demonstrating strategies for improved pupil performance.
- Collaborating with parents and the community to keep them informed and involved in pupils’ learning.
