Waingels, a popular 11-18 school where students achieved above national average in all measures and was identified as “continuing to be good” in a recent OFSTED inspection, is seeking to appoint aTeacher of English with responsibility of a Key Stage,due to the promotion of an existing post-holder. The exact Key Stage will depend on experience, your skills and the needs of the department.
This is a key role within the school and would be ideal for an experienced practitioner who already has experience of a subject leadership position or is seeking their first TLR in a subject setting.
The successful candidate will lead will work closely with the Head of Subject for English, leading on all aspects of English teaching across the department and making a significant contribution to this highly successful department and promoting English in the school and local community.
