ABOUT THE POSITION:
We are looking to appoint an outstanding Sports Coach to work with children across the school, delivering a range of PE lessons to each year group that meet the requirements of the National Curriculum, including hockey, dance, gymnastics and tennis. The successful candidate will be proactive, positive and flexible, a great team player with excellent communication skills and will work with the PE curriculum team to ensure that our pupils excel in physical activity and that teaching focuses on progressive skills throughout the different sports taught within the National Curriculum.
Whilst the main focus of the post will be on PE curriculum delivery, the successful applicant will also be required to:
- Deliver a range of before and after school clubs during each week, on a termly basis.
- Run school teams
- Attend sporting competitions across the town
- Have an active role in developing creative play during lunchtimes, working alongside our Deputy Headteacher

T The hours of working will be 37 hours per week with a 30 minute lunch break:
Monday & Friday: 8.30 – 3.30pm
Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursday: 8.00 – 4.30pm (including attending Staff Development Meeting on a Tuesday)
