What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a Wellbeing Practitioner who has a focus on leading an Outdoor School provision as part of our social, emotional and mental health interventions. The successful candidate will work with our Thrive Practitioner and will contribute to the alternative curriculum and SEN department.
This role will need someone who is trained (or prepared to undertake the training) to develop and deliver outdoor school provision including carrying out the necessary risk assessments. Part of this role will be to deliver the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award to a small group of students with additional needs. Therefore, the ability to plan and lead the expedition will be important. We are looking for someone with a passion to develop and lead this exciting area of the school. You will need to be prepared to support a wide range of students, be flexible, enjoy working with young people and, very importantly, retain a sense of humour.
